With so many drafts taking place, what advice can you offer your fellow fantasy footballers? I have 2 e-mail drafts that are currently running and have noticed some unusual trends. One expert took 4 backs with his 4 picks.
Interesting strategy to say the least. Let us hear what's going on in your drafts and tell us what you think we should and should not do.

The recent scare of Steven Jackson holding out past the start of the regular season has been pushing down his ADP a bit. In a live draft last weekend I was able to grab him with the 7th overall pick. Value? I think so.

He's ended the holdout and hopes to get time in the Rams next preseason game. Signing a 6 year $44 million deal (much of which is paid in the form of performance bonuses) will push him to validate that expense this year. I think regardless of the turd-like performance of Mark Bulger, SJax will find a way to make it happen.

If your draft is this weekend, feel comfortable selecting Jackson with the 3rd or 4th overall pick.

Other advice: stay focused when you're drafting. Go in with a plan, and don't let the sporadic retardation of some of your fellow drafters throw you off course. For instance, the DEF picking frenzy that typically ensues. The value between the first ranked DEF and last ranked DEF isn't so great that you should waste an early round pick on a DEF rather than a skill position player.

Be smart, and do the work.
